Metropolitan Youth Foundation, Inc. is a community-based youth organization founded by Kerry T. Williams, Jr.  and his wife Stephanie. Kerry’s passion for helping our youth began at age 17 when he started volunteering his time at the Hunter’s Field, a playground and youth facility located in New Orleans, La.  His belief that the youth are our greatest strength has only gotten stronger over the past 36 years as he has coached and mentored children of various ages.  Helping young people through a program that offers physical activity, academic enrichment, and emotional nurturing is his vision for Metropolitan. 

Our mission is to help children reach their full potential through holistic programming that promotes physical health, academic excellence, and emotional well-being.

Our current programming involves 3 areas:

• Physical activity through various sports
• Academic enrichment through after-school programs
• Social and Spiritual enrichment through mentoring

We partner with other nonprofit organizations, schools, governmental organizations, and corporations to deliver programming that enhances the lives of youth.

Metropolitan Youth Foundation is organized as a tax exempt nonprofit corporation recognized under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code
